In 1987, at the age of 25, self-taught chef and Denver native Kevin Taylor opened Zenith American Grill, serving his unique take on southwestern cuisine. Six months after opening, Zenith was among the three top-rated restaurants in Denver. Awards and recognition were garnered from local press and more than 25 national media outlets, including Bon Appetit, Restaurant Hospitality and GQ. Zenith also earned a prized four-star rating, securing Taylor’s place on the culinary map.

Since then, Taylor has opened many successful restaurants, all appealing to those with a sophisticated palette, as well as a love for the arts. MyAxisPoint was able to create solutions to meet all of our needs. We have wired and wireless terminals and remote wireless printers. We use wireless tablets for room service as well. Bob’s Place is located in Avon, Colorado about two hours west of Denver. We have had several POS Systems, but as we are in a rural area it is always challenging for us regarding service with any POS System. We have recently installed MyAxisPoint in our location and it gives us great peace of mind knowing we have limited our reliance on servers which can fail and credit card systems that are unreliable. We had a system-wide crash just before we made our switch to and they had us up and running in 24 hours. As our business is open 7am -2am, we have very little down time. About Bob's Place

In 1970, Bob Doyle moved from Albany, New York to Denver to operate a handful or submarine Sandwich shops.  In 1977 Bob then moved to Vail to open a deli in West Vail named The Menu. The Menu focused on catering to locals providing affordable dining, and friendly service. The Menu filled a niche by serving breakfast, deli style and submarine sandwiches, as well as homemade soups and salads. In 1990 The Menu changed it's name to the Jackalope and became a southwestern and Mexican casual dining restaurant. The Jackalope kept the breakfast concept and many lunch items from The Menu, yet incorporated Dinner and many new southwestern items like fajitas, and a sports bar.

 In 1992 Bob moved to Avon to open Bob's Place.  Bob's Place primarily focused on Breakfast once again, which he had become most known for, but added a small bar, satellites televisions and game room.  Bob's Place then moved in the summer of 2000 to it's current location in the Lodge at Avon Center. 

 Bob's Place evolution has taken some of the favorite recipes and items from each restaurant over the past 30 years to develop the current menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The famous Bob's theme has developed through the growth of the valley. Nearly everyone has a friend or relative named Bob. Look around at the famous Bob's on the wall, both in the dining room and bar. Celebrity Bob's in the dining room and Sports figures in the bar.
